Jenni graduated with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in 2008. She went on to pursue a career in general practice, becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2014 alongside completing her Diploma in Mental Health. She is a member of the British Menopause Society.
Jenni’s clinical interest in menopause stems from her experience helping a close relative through her menopause. Throughout this journey, Jenni reflected on her own clinical practice and patients she had seen who were perhaps misdiagnosed with depression, chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia who may have benefited from exploring menopause-related causes for their symptoms. Jenni has gained great joy from utilising the knowledge and skills she has gained to help women in her clinical practice get their lives back with effective menopause management.
In addition to treating physical symptoms, Jenni has a particular interest in the impact of the menopause on a woman's sense of identity and psychological well-being, she feels privileged to be able to help women find themselves again.
In her spare time she is mother to two very feisty girls and hopes to have a plethora of hobbies one day once she figures out how to juggle everyday life.
