Shehnaz graduated from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 2009 where she also completed a Masters in Neuroscience.
In 2013 she became a member of the Royal College of Physicians having completed several years of hospital based medical training. Following which she completed her GP training in South Warwickshire and is now practising in London as a GP.
Shehnaz’s interest in menopause was inspired through her working alongside Dr Jill Crowfoot, an esteemed colleague who also works at Newson Health. She successfully completed the BMS menopause course in 2019 and continues to apply her knowledge in her day-to-day practice. She is determined to engage discussion on menopause and raise awareness particularly amongst ethnic communities.
Shehnaz recently married and relocated to central London. She enjoys staying active through hiking, dancing and yoga. She is a passionate cook and enjoys trying recipes from her travels on her friends and family.
