A statement regarding media coverage of Newson Health’s CQC status:

The CQC (Care Quality Commission) has confirmed that Newson Health is not under investigation. The Clinic’s CQC rating remains ‘Good’. In October 2024, the CQC conducted an inspection of Newson Health as part of its regulatory responsibilities.

As the independent regulator of health and social care providers in England, the CQC is duty bound to routinely inspect registered providers and publish its findings. On average, independent sector providers are inspected every 2.9 years.

Following serious concerns raised by Newson Health in relation to bias, the CQC has decided to carry out a new inspection with a different inspection team at a future date.
