Published: 4th July 2019
Newson Health's Dr Louise Newson has recently launched a series of podcasts designed to provide women with unbiased, evidence-based advice to help manage their perimenopause and menopause. During the 30 minute sessions, Dr Newson discusses important topics such as symptoms and treatment of the menopause as well as menopause education and the benefits of HRT.
Dr Newson's guests include menopause experts Dr Sarah Ball and Dr Rebecca Lewis and Primary Care Women's Health Forum director Karl Hamer, just to name a few. Dr Newson will be joined by different colleagues and specialists every week so you can gain insight into what is seen and done here at Newson Health Menopause & Wellbeing Centre.
Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre was founded by leading menopause specialist and GP, Dr Louise Newson, and officially opened in September 2018 by Liz Earle MBE. Created to help women receive the most appropriate, individualised treatment for their perimenopause and menopause, it has quickly become a centre of excellence, providing care to women of all ages, as well as running educational events for primary care clinicians.
Dr Newson is also the founder of the My Menopause Doctor website, a free resource since 2017, providing the latest unbiased, evidence based information about the menopause and perimenopause for women as well as the most recent national and international menopause articles and guidelines for healthcare professionals.
