003 Menopause & depression - GP & Menopause Expert Dr Rebecca Lewis & Dr Louise Newson

Symptoms of depression commonly occur during the perimenopause/menopause. Here, Dr Rebecca Lewis discusses why symptoms can occur & ways of managing them with the right treatment. There is no evidence that antidepressants are beneficial for the low mood associated with changing hormone levels.
