Anita Solanki

Anita is an experienced clinical pharmacist who has specialised in mental health pharmacy in the NHS for over 20 years. Anita also has extensive experience as a clinical educator, training pharmacy, other healthcare professionals, patients and carers about medicines. She also works as a content author developing inclusive evidence-based information about mental health conditions and medicines to support informed decision making.

From her clinical experience, Anita has seen the impact of mental health problems on individuals and their families, together with a lack of discussion about hormonal fluctuations resulting in psychological symptoms. She is therefore very aware of the extra support needed for women to access HRT.

Anita can provide support and advice about mental health medicines alongside prescribing HRT and or holistic treatments at all stages of the menopause. She applies her person focussed and holistic approach to empower women to get back their health and wellbeing.

Anita lives with her husband and three busy children. She loves music and comedy gigs, time with friends and playing competitive netball.
