GP and Menopause Specialist
Catherine graduated from The University of Manchester and spent 5 years training in Urology, qualifying as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons. She went on to qualify as a GP, working as a GPwSI in urology for several years before going on to work in commissioning and clinical pathway development. She holds the DRCOG and DFSRH and has worked in GP and community contraception and sexual health clinics throughout her career. She is also a GP trainer and has recently gained Fellowship of the Royal College of GP’s.
Catherine is passionate about personalising care and supporting all individuals from all backgrounds to feel empowered to look after their own health as much as possible. Her interest in menopause has arisen from this passion.
She has recently moved to Kendal where she is pursuing new interests including beekeeping and growing vegetables as well as walking and climbing in the wonderful Lake District countryside.
