Nurse and Menopause Specialist

Claire is a Registered General Nurse and started working for the NHS in 1985. She believes that if people are feeling well, they get more out of life, and she is passionate about people having a long health span as well as lifespan. Originally specialising in Coronary and Intensive Care, Claire went into to General Practice in 1994 and went on to specialise in diabetes with an MSc in Health Sciences (Diabetes) from the University of Warwick. Claire is also a Western Medical Acupuncturist and has an interest in women’s health.

Claire is a board member of the Newson Health Menopause Society and part of the drive to raise menopause awareness, and improve menopause training for health care professionals, up-to-date evidence-based guidelines, information, and care available for all women.

Claire is married and has four adult children. She is a Master Scuba Diver, runner, crafter, and veggie grower.
