Deborah Deavall

Nurse and Menopause Specialist

Deborah qualified as a registered General Nurse in 1984. Her interest in women’s health led her to train as a Midwife in 1991.

After getting married and having two daughters, Deborah took a post as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. This role has provided many training opportunities and she was awarded an MSc in first contact care in 2009.

Deborah now takes the nurse lead role in women’s health in the practice after completing further training in this area. This has included contraception, sexual health and menopause training delivered by Dr Louise Newson.

Deborah is very passionate about the perimenopause and the menopause. She finds it very rewarding ensuring women are given the opportunity to make informed decisions in relation to the health and wellbeing which they deserve.
