Dr Alice Thomas

Alice graduated from the University of Liverpool School of Medicine in 2004 and started working as a GP in Merseyside in 2008. It was after relocating to Sydney, Australia in 2010 that Alice discovered her interest and passion for Women’s Health and the management of the menopause, in a busy family practice.

Alice returned to the UK in 2013 and is now based in North Somerset, continuing her work as a GP alongside an additional role as a Mental Health Assessor. She continues to feel passionate about the importance of providing optimal care for women during the perimenopause and menopause with evidence-based and individualised advice. Alice appreciates the role of lifestyle in the management of symptoms and values the time to explore and balance the available medical treatments and lifestyle advice, with support and compassion. The experience of working with women to help inform and empower them to take control of this challenging time, is the most rewarding part of her job.

Alice has two young boys and loves the countryside life, spending as much time as possible outside, running and walking in the fields. She enjoys exploring further afield with her family when possible, with road trips in their campervan.
