Dr Anna Maison

Anna qualified from Southampton University in 2002 and has worked in the Southampton area as a GP since finishing her GP training in 2007. She enjoys the variety of being a GP and finds there is rarely a dull moment! 

Anna has a keen interest in women’s health and has obtained a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is passionate about ensuring women receive good menopause care as this can make such a difference to their quality of life and long-term health.  She has seen what a difference HRT can make to many women and the importance of a patient centred and holistic approach. Anna also has a keen interest in medical education and is a GP trainer which involves supervising trainee GPs.

Anna loves to spend her spare time with her husband and 2 daughters and also enjoys running, cycling and cooking.
