Dr Charlotte Iveson

MBBS DRCOG MRCGP

Offers appointments in London – Wimpole Street

GP and Menopause Specialist

Charlotte graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ medical school in 2010. Prior to this she attained a first class honours degree in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art. Charlotte works as a GP in North London and really enjoys seeing a wide range of conditions.

After very little teaching about the menopause at medical school, Charlotte developed a specialist interest in this area after experiencing premature menopause with a history of thrombosis herself. Charlotte has experienced first hand a range of symptoms menopause can present with, and the impact it has on day-to-day life. She also has an understanding of the importance of the long-term health benefits of HRT. Charlotte is passionate about helping women through the menopause and enabling them to feel their best. She wants to empower women to make informed, individualised choices about their health.

She has gone on to do the British Menopause Society (BMS) “Principles and Practice of Menopause Care” course and is currently working towards her advanced accreditation with the BMS. Charlotte has the additional experience of two rotations through Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Whittington Hospital and has attained the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG).

Charlotte lives in North London with her husband, a Consultant Neuroradiologist, and their two young children. When Charlotte is not working she loves running, painting and attending art exhibitions.

You can see Charlotte at our London Wimpole Street clinic for an in person appointment.
