GP and Menopause Specialist
Heather qualified from Peninsula Medical School in Devon in 2008. She completed her GP training (MRCP) in Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and remains working as a GP in the Basingstoke area. She has a special interest in women’s health, contraception and menopause and holds the Advanced Certificate of Menopause care as well as the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH). She is also trained to fit coils and implants.
In addition to her GP role, Heather runs a weekly gynaecology clinic at Basingstoke Hospital which has allowed her to broaden her knowledge of women’s health conditions. She has developed a special interest in menopause and HRT and has a passion for improving women’s quality of life.
Heather has 4 children and lives in the North Hampshire area. Aside from driving her children around the county to football and athletics events, Heather is a keen runner, completing the London Marathon in 2021 and running in various local races. She also enjoys exploring the local countryside with her family.
