Dr Jacqueline Brickley
GP and Menopause Specialist
Jacqueline graduated from St Andrews University with a BSc. in Medical Science and qualified as a doctor in 1999 from Manchester University. She trained as a GP in London in 2004 gaining her MRCGP. She graduated with a diploma in Sport and Exercise medicine from UCL in 2007 and worked with Paralympics GB and at the World University Games in 2009 alongside her GP role.
She moved to East Sussex to work as a GP Partner in 2009. She is passionate about the impact exercise, nutrition and lifestyle can have on chronic disease and has undertaken further training in nutrition and lifestyle medicine, attending a course in the USA in 2017. She has recently delivered seminars to the corporate sector on nutrition and has a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She has set up a local non profit supporting women who were living with and beyond cancer and has run wellness retreats to support their wellbeing.
She developed an interest in PMS and menopause over recent years and is passionate about supporting women through this period. She has attended various courses in Menopause and sees many women through her work as a GP. As a busy Mum of 2 boys, she is aware of the impact hormones can have on day to day life and is committed to supporting women through these challenges.
She has 2 young boys and enjoys running, cycling and open water swimming when time allows.
