GP and Menopause Specialist
Jo graduated from University College and Middlesex School of Medicine in 1994 and qualified as a GP after further training in North London.
She worked as a GP partner in London before taking a sabbatical in Vancouver with her young family. For the past 10 years she has worked as a GP in Walsall where she continues to enjoy treating a wide range of patients and clinical problems.
She has always had an interest in women’s health and developed a special interest in the menopause during her own struggle with menopausal symptoms.
She is very keen to help women recognise their symptoms, both physical and psychological and to provide accurate, evidence based information regarding the benefits of HRT, and other treatments. She finds enabling and supporting women to make informed choices rewarding, due to the transformative effect that it can have, helping them get back to their ‘best selves’.
Jo is married with 3 children and 2 Bernese mountain dogs, tries to keep fit, loves tennis, yoga (especially the sleeping bit at the end) and painting old furniture.
