Olivia trained at Nottingham University before moving to London to complete her post graduate education. She has worked as a GP in both the NHS and private sector since completing her GP training in 2012. She has always been enthused by Women health and with this focus in mind, undertook the Obstetrics and Gynaecology rotation as part of her training. Following that, she successfully obtained the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Diploma from the Royal College.
Whilst, she has planned to focus in this area, after hearing a talk by Dr Louise Newson at a Women health day in 2016, she found her passion for what she felt was a neglected area for women: menopause and HRT. Having a mother who underwent premature menopause has given Olivia a rare insight into how important this area is.
Olivia has become well known in her NHS and private work as the ‘go-to’ practitioner for all things menopause. She is passionate that all women be fully informed and have access to effective care during this time in their lives. She is a member of the British Menopause Society and has completed their theory course as well as gaining the Fourteen Fish Confidence in Menopause certificate.
She has two small children and a delightful pug puppy. She loves cinema and travel.
