Dr Verity Oloro

Verity completed her medical degree at Cardiff University and then moved to Herefordshire to train as a GP, where she has remained ever since. She enjoys rural life, working in a busy country GP surgery as the women’s health lead.

With a keen interest in all things female, she obtained her Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare Diploma and became a coil and implant fitter early on in her career. She then went on to develop a contraception service, aiming to improve access and promote choice within the community.

She believes education is key and through backing the strong evidence base that supports the benefits of hormone replacement, she hopes the issues surrounding access to treatment will become a thing of the past.

Verity advocates that women must be heard and menopause care should be available to all. She feels privileged to work within a dynamic, patient centred team at Newson Health, that empowers individuals to take control of their wellbeing, hormones and future health, as a result.

When not working, she enjoys running, live music, gardening and adventuring in the great outdoors.
