We can remove hormonal coils, including Mirena, Kyleena and Jaydess, as well as copper coils.

The procedure itself is usually quick, with the appointment allowing up to 30 minutes for assessment, removal and any questions.
If your coil cannot be removed routinely, your clinician will explain the next steps.

Please tell the team if:
Mild cramping, bleeding or spotting can occur after removal and usually settles quickly.
Your clinician will explain when to seek medical advice and can also discuss your future contraception needs.
