Our lives are about choices. Choosing to eat healthily and exercise are very important choices. Having good quality sleep and a positive outlook on life are also essential. However, for many perimenopausal and menopausal women none of these choices are easy or even possible without the right balance of their hormones.
Newson Health has been created to allow women to receive unbiased, evidence-based advice and treatment for their perimenopause and menopause. We have created this menopause and wellbeing centre to be a centre of excellence providing care to women of all ages.

The menopause can be a liberating experience for some women who embrace the next chapter of their life. However, for many it can be an overwhelming, frightening, life changing and isolating experience. As GPs, we are able to provide individualised treatment so women receive the treatment and advice that best suits them during their perimenopause and menopause.
We also have experts working with us to provide advice and treatment in areas such as nutrition, pelvic floor physiotherapy, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, acupuncture and hypnotherapy. Exercise is very important for everyone, especially menopausal women, and we offer yoga classes including individual and small group lessons. We strongly believe that the perimenopause and menopause can be an enjoyable and healthy experience with the right support, help and treatment.
