Many women who come to our clinic have symptoms of low testosterone which is confirmed by a blood test. Despite testosterone being an important female hormone, it can be difficult to have testosterone prescribed to women through the NHS. These appointments are designed for women who are already taking HRT and are keen to discuss testosterone as an additional hormone treatment.

You must already be using body identical HRT, patches, gels or spray to be able to book a testosterone appointment. This appointment will be to discuss testosterone only, therefore if you're not yet established on HRT you won't be eligible for this appointment.
