Confidence in Menopause course
Dr Alice Neffendorf qualified as a doctor from the University of Edinburgh as well as achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Pharmacology. She has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is a member of the British and International Menopause Societies. Alice carried out her GP training in Buckinghamshire before moving to Oxfordshire.
Alice values the importance of understanding her patient's symptoms in the context of their lives. Her experience has shown her the benefits of offering a personalised approach to patients who require treatment of menopausal symptoms. She also is sensitive to the needs of her patients from a mental health perspective and recognises the hormonal factors that can cause emotional distress.
Outside of work Alice likes to explore her creative side with many projects on the go, whether it be knitting, interior design or gardening. She lives with her husband and son in rural Oxfordshire. Alice has a particular interest in cultivating dahlias and likes to play tennis, swim and enjoys yoga and meditation.
