Dr Rebecca Lewis qualified from Guy’s Medical School and began her career in anaesthetics before retraining as a GP. It was during her time in general practice that she developed a passion for menopause care, having seen the profound impact it can have on women’s health and quality of life. She finds this area of medicine incredibly rewarding, with the right diagnosis and treatment often leading to life-changing improvements.

Rebecca now works solely in hormone health care as a director at Newson Clinic, which she helped establish with Dr Louise Newson in 2018. She has a wealth of clinical experience that stretches across general practice, hospital medicine, anaesthetics and hormone health.

Through her extensive clinical work, education and advocacy, she is committed to empowering women with evidence-based information and improving hormone health awareness in both healthcare and society. She often hosts corporate talks to educate the workforce on hormone health, its impact on life and careers, and ways to find support.

Rebecca is also a director of the free Balance app.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys running, travelling, skiing and spending time with her teenage children.
