Dr Tara Caplan completed her training as a GP in 2004. She is keen to help women optimise their health and wellbeing, and strongly believes that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) plays a fundamental and often overlooked role in healthy ageing. Used appropriately, sex hormones can decrease the risk of many chronic diseases such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and dementia.
She is passionate about helping women to get the most out of their HRT, while providing tailored advice regarding nutrition, exercise and supplements. Tara believes in making small changes to create sustainable healthy habits, and wants women to feel strong and empowered to live full and active lives.
In her spare time, she is normally driven a bit mad by her husband, three teenage boys and two male dogs (a testosterone-driven household!). To regain her sanity, Tara enjoys spending time outdoors, playing padel and weight training.
