Confidence in Menopause course
Dr Lemees Al-Chalabi graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 with an honours degree in Medicine. Following this she fulfilled her ambition and love for travelling and worked in Sydney, Australia for 3 years within the Emergency Medicine setting.
On returning to the UK, she embarked upon General Practice training and qualified as a GP in 2018. Lemees currently works as an NHS GP in the North Worcestershire area. She holds a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in women’s health and has completed the Confidence in Menopause course. She has a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and enjoys educating her patients and colleagues.
Over the years Lemees has developed a strong interest in women’s health. In particular female hormone health and managing the different hormonal journeys that we experience throughout life. Lemees is passionate about perimenopause and menopause care. She believes that this is a unique time in a woman’s life, and it's essential to give women evidence-based information to allow informed decision making about their menopause care and future health. She provides an individualised holistic approach, considering lifestyle advice alongside hormone therapy.
Outside of work Lemees is a devoted mother and enjoys cooking, gardening, and exercise for relaxation.
