Dr Sian Morris graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2003 and went on to start her career there. She completed her GP training in the Northeast of England in 2008. She left the UK briefly after this to travel and experience working as doctor in Australia, working in Sydney Sexual Health Centre for one year.
Sian has always had an interest in women’s health and sexual health, especially after having her own hormonal issues throughout her life. On returning to the UK, she relocated to London and has remained there ever since. Building on her interest in women’s health, she completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma in Family and Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She fits contraceptive coils and implants in her current NHS practice. Sian has worked as an NHS GP for 15 years and continues to do so. Sian has completed the Confidence in Menopause course, written by Dr Louise Newson, and takes every opportunity to further her knowledge in this area. She is excited to be part of such a forward thinking and progressive team at Newson Clinic.
Outside of work, Sian has three young children who keep her busy! She enjoys interior design, gardening and keeping fit.
