Confidence in Menopause course
Dr Sumi Rampling studied medicine at UWCM in Wales. She worked in global health in several different countries and specialised in public health medicine in the UK before qualifying as a GP. She also spent some years working in a sexual health clinic in Soho, London.
As a qualified NHS public health specialist and a GP and menopause specialist, Sumi has an interest in the public health benefits of HRT. At a personal level, she went through an early menopause, and it really impacted her health and wellbeing as well as her ADHD. As a GP trainee, it drove Sumi to do a lot of self-directed learning in this area and to learn more about how hormones impact on cognition and wellbeing. In fact, she was a patient at Newson Clinic before becoming a clinician here! When Sumi experienced first-hand the profound impact that hormone replacement can have, it gave her even greater motivation to try and achieve the same results for others.
