Our consultations and services provide advice and treatment options relevant to you. We also work closely with other specialists to optimise your future health and wellbeing.
We offer individualised consultations for your perimenopause and menopause with menopause specialists. We discuss treatment options, both Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal treatments relevant to you, your symptoms and your future health.
Appointments are available via video or in-person at the Stratford-upon-Avon, Bournemouth, Southampton, London, Chester, Manchester and Harrogate clinics. Find your nearest clinic here.
We also have appointments for perimenopausal and menopausal women who have had breast cancer – more information about these consultations are here.
We are delighted to offer a discounted first appointment to those working in the emergency services, NHS and social care, teachers, and members of the Armed Forces. Find out more here.
Our testosterone consultation is a shorter, more focused and lower cost appointment with a clinician to discuss your suitability for testosterone and the likely benefits of adding testosterone to your HRT regime. Find out more about the benefits of testosterone for women and how it can complement your existing treatment plan.

Bone strength scan (DEXA scan)
When the hormone oestrogen falls around the time of the menopause, bones rapidly lose their strength, and this increases the chance you might break a bone from a fall or even a knock. If you have broken a bone in the past or are worried about your bones weakening as you age, let our experts measure the strength of your bones and advise you on how to best protect them for the future.
Body composition scans
Body composition scans provide an accurate and precise measurement of body fat and muscle distribution. If you’re at the beginning of a weight loss or fitness journey, having a body composition scan before and after will enable you to monitor the changes in body fat and muscle mass in your arms, legs and trunk.
More informationBleeding can be a common side effect when you first start taking HRT. If you are troubled by persistent or unusual vaginal bleeding during your perimenopause or menopause, we can arrange for you to have a detailed ultrasound scan of your womb and ovaries in Winton House. This will then help you determine the best course of action for you.
Ultrasound scan to investigate vaginal bleeding
Our sonographer offers a high quality clinical and diagnostic service to women with concerns about their gynaecological health. Ultrasound examination provides useful information about the possible causes of unexplained vaginal bleeding, including measuring the thickness of the womb lining, and identifying any polyps or fibroids that may be present. In the majority of cases, reassurance is given that your scan is normal and your Newson Health clinician will review the findings with you and adjust your treatment regime if needed. On occasion, the scan results may lead to a referral to gynaecology for further investigation and management.
