Fertility advice for women going through an early perimenopause or menopause

Jon Hughes has been a consultant in Worcestershire for ten years and is a member of both the British Fertility Society and British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. He is the lead for the local NHS fertility service, gynaecology ultrasound training, as well as joint lead of the Worcestershire endometriosis clinic. In these roles he investigates and carries out treatment for women with sub-fertility, Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (early menopause), pelvic pain and recurrent miscarriages.

Jon is the lead clinician for Worcestershire Fertility (which is part of Oxford Fertility - https://www.oxfordfertility.co.uk/). Oxford Fertility is part of TFP, with 37 fertility clinics across the UK and Europe.

Jon works closely with the team in Oxford to investigate and treat women with sub-fertility giving them exactly the same treatment and success rates as they would travelling to Oxford. Investigations and treatment will be provided as much as possible in the Worcester clinic, thereby providing a local service for Worcestershire and the surrounding area.

He is delighted to be also working as part of the team in Newson Health and is running a regular clinic providing individualised advice to women which fertility problems or potential fertility issues which have arisen as a result of their early perimenopause and menopause.
