Amanda Worsey

Amanda is an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has worked in Primary Care for over 20 years. She has a vast experience in caring for patients of all ages and has dedicated herself to education and research to provide up to date evidenced based care and information for her patients. Amanda has a background in Midwifery, Gynaecology and Family Planning and has a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice. In addition, she has further accredited training in the fundamentals of Primary Care, Asthma, Diabetes, Cervical screening, Breast awareness, Women’s Health, Family Planning, Minor Injuries, Minor Illness and Paediatrics.

Amanda has a special interest and passion in Menopause Care. She enjoys listening to women’s stories, and promoting shared decision making, so that women can make an informed choice and optimise their menopause journey. Amanda has completed the Confidence in the Menopause Course and has also gained further accredited training, delivered by the British Menopause Society. Amanda finds Menopause care rewarding and is proud to work with the Newson Health team and provide women with the care they deserve.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking the dogs in the Welsh country side and spending time with family and friends.
