Dr Hollie Jackson
MBChB MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH
GP and Menopause Specialist
Hollie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2007 and qualified as a GP in Manchester in 2012. She has very much enjoyed her time working as an NHS GP in the Stockport area ever since.
Whilst very much enjoying day to day General Practice she recognised early on her passion for Women’s Health completing her DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology), and her DFSRH (Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health) prior to completing her General Practice training.
This keen interest in Women’s Health led to a particular interest in the menopause and HRT. She went on to audit its use in the NHS setting and implemented change to improve a woman’s menopause journey within her own practice. She loves the conversation with women about their menopause and its management. She feels good menopause care should include educating women fully about their options, thus empowering them to make often life changing decisions about how to manage their individual journey.
When Hollie is not working, she loves to spend time exploring the great outdoors with her husband and their two young children, not forgetting their beloved spaniel!
