Dr Janet Richardson

Janet graduated from The University of Liverpool in 1999 and has always had a passion for women’s health. Following initial training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and success in part 1 MRCOG she went on to pursue a career in general practice. She completed her GP training in 2005, passing MRCGP with merit. Since then she has combined her work in general practice with the provision of palliative care at her local hospice. Her interest in women’s health has continued throughout her career and she has gained the qualifications of DRCOG, DSRH and FRSH certificate in menopause care.

She enjoys providing a holistic approach to ladies impacted by symptoms of the menopause and feels privileged and rewarded when witnessing the improvements in her patients’ lives, having guided them with individualised and evidenced based care. She is passionate about supporting ladies to continue to enjoy their lives and careers to the full.

She lives with her husband and 2 children in West Yorkshire where she grew up and enjoys karate, running, skiing and chocolate!
