Dr Jo Sewell

Jo qualified in medicine from Bristol University and stayed in Bristol to complete her GP training.  She has had a varied career including some years working abroad in New Zealand where her love of Women’s Health developed.  She is a British Menopause Society Advanced Menopause Specialist.

Jo also has an interest in lifestyle medicine and feels this is an excellent combination with good quality menopause care.  Jo is passionate to help empower women and give them the time and advice to get the most effective treatment specific to them through this challenging stage in their life.  She finds helping women to manage their menopause symptoms effectively a rewarding part of her job.

When not at work, Jo has two boys who love sport, one rescue dog and a husband who is bike and car mad.  She likes to jog, play tennis, and spend time with her family in the Cotswolds.  If time allows, she also enjoys snuggling up with a good book.
