Dr Katy Spencer Hammon

A University of Edinburgh graduate, Katy has been a fully qualified General Practitioner for over 20 years. She has always had a passion for Women’s Health and was working as a Family Planning Doctor before she fully qualified as a GP and so is an experienced coil and implant fitter. Having experienced perimenopause symptoms herself, Katy is fully aware of the meaning of “brain fog” and is pleased to be able to help women going through a similar experience become themselves again.

As well as working at Newson Health, Katy is a part time GP in South Warwickshire and also works for NHS England as an Appraiser which involves undertaking annual reviews of other GPs to support them with their ongoing learning and practice.

Outside of work Katy enjoys home improvements, film, travel, meeting friends and fielding two teenage boys.
