Dr Lemees Al-Chalabi

Lemees graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 with an Honours degree in Medicine. Following this she fulfilled her ambition and love for travelling and worked in Sydney, Australia for 3 years within the Emergency Medicine setting. On returning to the UK, she embarked upon General Practice training and qualified as a GP in 2018. Lemees currently works as a GP in the North Worcestershire area.

She has always been interested in women’s health and during her GP training she gained a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She enjoys educating her patients and colleagues and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.

Lemees is passionate about perimenopause and menopause care. She believes that this is a unique time in a woman’s life, and it is essential to give women evidence-based information, to allow informed decision making about their menopause care and future health. Lemees has been inspired by the Newson Health team in recent years, she has completed the Fourteen Fish menopause course and is excited to join such a forward thinking and progressive team.

Outside of work, Lemees is a devoted mother and enjoys cooking, gardening, and exercise for relaxation.
