Dr Maqsuda Zaman

Maqsuda graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1992 and completed her GP training in Manchester. She currently works as a part-time GP in Oldham and for the South Manchester GP Federation and has always had a strong interest in women’s health, advocating a holistic approach to all physical and psychological issues.

Her passion for the menopause developed after discovering the benefits of body-identical HRT in 2016 and she has since pro-actively sought to identify and manage women with peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms, many of whom have been misinformed, misdiagnosed or denied HRT in the past.

She has completed the Fourteen Fish Confidence in The Menopause Course, is an associate of the Newson Health Menopause Society, a member of the International Menopause Society and the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum.

She is married with five children and two cats and enjoys reading, walking in her local National Trust parks, and spending time with family and friends.
