Dr Tania Longman
BSc MBChB MRCGP
GP and Menopause Specialist
Tania is a salaried GP in a large, busy practice in Plymouth. After first completing a physics degree, Tania graduated from Bristol University medical school in 2010 and completed GP training in south Devon in 2019.
Tania enjoys working with a diverse group of patients and believes that excellent care through the menopause should be available to all women. Tania has a strong interest in ‘whole person care’ – taking a broad approach to understanding her patients’ health and helping them to appreciate the range of treatments and lifestyle changes available to them. Tania has a yoga teaching qualification and is currently undertaking a diploma in Applied Nutrition for Medics. She believes in supporting women through the menopause by empowering them to make informed, evidence-based choices.
Tania lives in south Devon with her son and they will soon become a blended family with her partner and his son. She loves to cook, dance, spend time exploring the Devon countryside, and is an enthusiastic outdoor swimmer all- year round.
