GP and Menopause Specialist
Liz graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine Cardiff in 1998 and qualified as a GP in 2003. She fulfilled an ambition for some traveling before taking a GP partnership in Cardiff in 2005. She is also an Honorary Lecturer for medical students as well as being the practice diabetes lead.
She has always been interested in women’s health and gained a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Faculty of Family Planning. She also fits the contraceptive implant.
Recently she has developed an interest in lifestyle medicine and menopause. She is a member of the British Menopause Society and is training to be an advanced menopause specialist. She is able to provide an evidence based, personalised and holistic approach to the peri menopause and menopause, empowering women to make decisions about their health, and finds this incredibly rewarding.
Liz is married with 2 school aged children. She enjoys baking, walking, body boarding and coaching a girl’s football team (go Cosmos!).
