Pharmacist with interest in menopause

Janine qualified as a pharmacist in 1997 and has been a prescriber since 2004. She has a background in community pharmacy and now works as a practice support pharmacist in primary care.

Janine has completed her menopause training with the Confidence in the Menopause course written by Dr Louise Newson and is a member of the British Menopause Society. Her interest in the peri-menopause and menopause, and its impact on women’s health and wellbeing has come more to the forefront in recent years, particularly after seeing the impact of symptoms on friends and patients lives. Janine takes time listening to patients and is passionate about helping women at this time in their lives, taking an individualised approach to peri-menopausal and menopausal care. She believes passionately in supporting women with accurate information through the menopause by empowering them to make their own informed, evidence-based decisions. Janine also has a keen interest in the aesthetics of aging skin.

Janine lives at home with her husband, two sons and two Dachshunds. When she’s not being a taxi driver for her sons or talking about menopause care Janine enjoys travel, walking, good food, fitness classes, swimming and playing tennis.
